Description
The Warren Heckrotte papers (1940s, 1960s-2000s) document the work of American nuclear physicist and nuclear arms expert Warren Heckrotte through reports, notes, professional correspondence, printed materials, and one recorded interview.
Background
Warren Heckrotte (1922-2019). Nuclear physicist and nuclear arms expert, known for his work at the Lawrence Livermore Laboratory and collaboration with the Atomic Energy Commission. Heckkrotte helped negotiate nuclear disarmament agreements under five different presidential administrations, from Kennedy to Clinton.
