Description
This collection consists of music scores that accompany cartoon shorts created by the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Cartoon Studio from 1937-1957.
Background
Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Cartoon Studio (1937-1957) was responsible for producing animated shorts to accompany MGM feature films in Loew's Theatre. Notable people who worked for the MGM Cartoon Studio were William Hanna, Joseph Barbera, Tex Avery, and Fritz Freleng.
