    Abstract: George Synnerberg (1882-1957), also known as Georgii Georgievich Siunnerberg, was a Russian Imperial Army officer and trade representative of Swedish-Finnish origin. The collection includes speeches and writings, typescripts, audiotapes, photographs and photograph albums, identification papers, correspondence, diaries, and other biographical materials.

    Biographical Note

    George Synnerberg (1882-1957), also known as Georgii Georgievich Siunnerberg, was a Russian Imperial Army officer and trade representative of Swedish-Finnish origin. He graduated from Corps de Pages (Pazhyeskiy korpus), served as an officer in the Life-Guard Semenovskii regiment (Semyonovsky leyb-gvardii polk), and later left military service to became a Russian commercial attaché in Shanghai. He died in California in 1957.

    Scope and Content of Collection

    Collection includes speeches and writings, typescripts, audiotapes, photographs and photograph albums, identification papers, correspondence, diaries, and other biographical materials. Includes materials relating to the Corps de Pages (Pazhyeskiy korpus) and the Life-Guard Semenovskii regiment (Semyonovsky leyb-gvardii polk).
