The Scientology of the Marina records are part of a larger donation to the Graduate Theological Union Library by Allysyn Kiplinger, whose father, Harry Dell Kiplinger, managed a fledgling office of the Church of Scientology in the San Francisco Marina district from 1970 to 1972. There are some records that document the activities of the new office, but most of the material is from the Church of Scientology.
