This collection contains correspondence, speeches and writings, memoranda, notes, clippings, printed matter, and photographs, relating to American politics, American neutrality in World Wars I and II, military conscription in the United States, New Deal social and economic legislation, the Supreme Court controversy of 1937, the Progressive movement in the United States, and the Minnesota Farmer-Labor Party.
