Scope and content:

Collection contains 1758 travel slides taken by Lassen on his travels around the world. Most are from Africa and South America, but slides from Asia, Europe and North America are also included. Also contains titles for slides, Lassen's notes on Formosa and Java, and his 29-page account of his travels.
