Biographical / historical:

Ms. Carroll was born in Dorchester, Wisconsin, January 29, 1903. She received her R.N. from St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac, WI, in 1932. She was employed by the Monarch Life Insurance Company, 1950-(56?). She began her teaching career in California at Galileo Adult School in San Francisco, in 1949, and retired in 1971.
