Collection consists of British catalogs from 1703-1930, the reference collection of English bookseller Frank Marcham, and
various American book catalogs. An illustrated index to the British catalogs to 1900 is available, and the British Museum's
List of catalogues of English book sales, 1676-1900, has been annotated with UCLA's holdings and location within the collection.
Of American catalogs, there are files for Libbie, 1885-1919; Henkels, 1898-1935; Parke-Bernet, and others. Auction houses
represented in the collection include American Art Association, American Book Auction, Anderson Galleries, Christie's, Charles
Hamilton, Henkels, Libbie & Company, Park-Bernet, Sotheby Parke-Bernet & Company, and Swann.
