Scope and content:: The collection includes photographs, some mounted; copied programs from the 1932 Olympic Games; and labels used in the exhibit. Also, oversized map of Olympic events, including schedule and entrance fees.
Biographical / historical:: In 1984, Los Angeles hosted the Games of the XXIII Olympiad and the cycling events were held at the velodrome on the campus of CSU Dominguez Hills. To celebrate the games and the participation of CSUDH, the Department of Archives and Special Collections put together an exhibit of photographs and documents from the first time Los Angeles hosted the Olympic Games - the Games of the X Olympiad in 1932.
