Loose images include one of Leland Stanford Jr. age 2; a tintype of Leland Stanford Jr., 13 years old, with possibly his tutor; two unidentified family members; and one photo [nearly completed faded away] taken by Leland Jr. in France, 1880.

This album, bound in brown leather with gilded page edges, is inscribed "Leland from Jane A Merry Christmas Dec. 25, 1875." The pages in the album have rectangular or oval inserts.
