Collection consists of books, pamphlets, reports, clippings, and other printed material related to women's rights. Includes materials on the Equal Rights Amendment and the National Women's Conference in Texas in 1977.

Snyder was born as Elizabeth Ingrid Louise Carlson on April 8, 1914, in Minneapolis, Minnesota; AB, UCLA, 1935; campaign worker for Jerry Voorhis, 1936; national committeewoman, Young Democrats, 1938-42; first woman chairman, California State Democratic Committee, 1954-56; married Nathan H. Snyder, a Los Angeles attorney.
