Scope and content:

This collection contains three (3) holograph letters dated 1946-1947 from a member of the Britsh Legation in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to his wife sent through the diplomatic bag to England. The author is unknown except for the first name "Henry." One letter is 20 hand-written pages while the other two are single sheets.
