Abstract: This collection comprises materials created by various campus organizations at the University of California, Irvine. The materials
document the activities of organizations serving students, faculty and staff, as well as cosponsored organizations and organizations
sponsored by faculty spouses or domestic partners. Materials include fliers and leaflets, brochures and booklets, newsletters
and magazines, announcements, schedules of events, event programs, constitutions and bylaws, invitations, zines, forms, correspondence,
photographs, reports, and other administrative files. Not all clubs and organizations represented in this collection were
officially registered with the university.

collection (PS-033 to AS-217) and the title was changed from "University of California, Irvine, clubs and organizations publications"
to "University of California, Irvine, campus organizations collection" as part of the Publications Series sunsetting project
started in 2019.
Throughout UCI's history, countless campus organizations have supported the diverse beliefs, interests, and activities of
UCI's students, faculty, and staff. UCI does not sponsor or endorse any of their views or activities; all organizations are
established and governed independently. Some organizations are local chapters of national organizations or affiliated with
other off-campus groups. In order to gain access to campus resources, programming, and advising, groups must register with
the Office of Campus Organizations, part of Student Life and Leadership and Student Affairs. Unless a group specifies otherwise,
membership in registered campus organizations is open to students, faculty, staff, and the general public, but only individuals
directly affiliated with UCI may hold positions of authority or leadership. Some groups choose not to register and operate
unofficially.
Collection Scope and Content Summary
This collection comprises materials created by various campus organizations at the University of California, Irvine. The materials

- Faculty and staff organizations, 1969-2005. 0.5 linear feet
