Scope and content:

This collection contains an ongoing selection of commencement programs from the ten individual colleges, the School of Engineering, and various student groups, as well as the early "Official Programs" for the campus as a whole. Also included are miscellaneous invitations, speeches, certificates, and a small amount of correspondence concerning various college graduation events.

  1. Cowell College, founded 1965
  2. Adlai E. Stevenson College, founded 1966
  3. Crown College, founded 1967
  4. Merrill College, founded 1968
  5. Benjamin F. Porter College, founded in 1969 as "College Five" and formally dedicated as "Benjamin F. Porter College" in 1981.
  6. Kresge College, founded 1971
  7. Oakes College, founded 1972
  8. College Eight, founded 1972
  9. College Nine, founded 2000
  10. College Ten, founded 2002
Acquisition information:

Original collection transferred from Alumni Office in 1998. Additional yearly accurals from each of the colleges.

Individual gifts were received from David Strachan, Terry Simmons, Scott Crask, James Davis, Doreen Schack, and Patricia Bowitz.
