The collection contains correspondence, flyers, invitations, memoranda, notices, and other mailings, mainly relating to the American Institute of Graphic Arts [AIGA] Fifty Books of the Year Show and other organization activities. These mainly are items sent to Hobart Skofield, who was an AIGA member from 1932.
Publications of AIGA have been cataloged separately and can be searched on Pegasus, the UCSB Libraries online catalog. These include Journal of the American Institute of Graphic Arts and its predecessor, the AIGA Journal, which include exhibition catalogs for the AIGA Fifty Books of the Year Show and others.
