Scope and content:: Depicts atomic destruction of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan, 1945, and subsequent condition of survivors of the atomic bomb. Produced by the 10 Feet Film Project, a Japanese project to purchase all available footage shot by the US government in Nagasaki and Hiroshima after the atomic bomb blasts. The project encouraged Japanese people to donate 3000 yen each which was the price to purchase 10 feet of film from the U.S. national archives.
