Scope and content:

Album contains some 54 photos (mostly black and white, 2 color), some with captions (in Chinese) plus 2 negative strips. Appears to be album of PLA soldier (named He Hong) from army reserve training school in Chengdu in Sichuan province. Snapshots from various locales: group/unit photos of training as well as leisure activities. One photo of military helicopter. Includes a card (dated 1985) with music and lyrics of a song concerning a soldier leaving home at seventeen. Handwritten inscription dated 1986 on front page, one photo dated 1987.
