Scope and content:

These photographs primarily document the damage from the 1906 San Francisco earthquake and fire, both in San Francisco and at Stanford University. Most of the images are of damaged buildings and streets but also include bread lines and relief stations, including "Camp Stanford." Other images include Stanford University buildings prior to 1906 and a track race. The collection includes glass plate negatives, film negatives, and prints.
