Scope and content:: This collection consists of three editions of Food Safety: It's Everyone's Business, issued by the Consumer Protection Division. This publication was intended for food facilities and covers a number of topics with the goal of preventing foodborne illness. The editions are from 1995, 2000, and 2008.
Biographical / historical:: The Department of Environmental Health is a stand-alone department under the administrative oversight of the Department of Agriculture and Environmental Management. Previously it was part of the now disbanded Environmental Resources Agency and before that a division of the Public Health Department. The department includes the Consumer Protection Division, the Hazardous Materials Compliance Division (HMCD), and the Vector Control District.
Acquisition information:: These materials were transferred to the Archives by the Department of Environmental Health in 2009.
