Biographical / historical:

Robert Augsburger was Stanford's vice president for business and finance from 1971 to 1977 and a lecturer in management at the Graduate School of Business from 1971 until he retired in 1995. Prior to coming to Stanford, he was a Wall Street executive; he received a B.S. degree from Northwestern and a J. D. degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. He has also served with the Stanford Associates and the Stanford Historical Society.
