Background

Scope and content:

Five reels of 1960s-70s video tape recordings, all labeled "Ampex Training Department." Most were produced by Ampex themselves. The tapes were given to Stanford by John Eckland. Eckland (1952-) is an antique radio collector, historian and restoration expert who is retired from the electronics industry. He lives in Palo Alto.
