Scope and content:

This collection contains indirect cost studies, indirect cost proposals, fiscal year proposals and reports.

Biographical / historical:

The Cost and Management Analysis (CMA) team plays a pivotal role in establishing, suggesting, and engaging in negotiations regarding the Facilities and Administrative Cost Rates and Fringe Benefits Rates in collaboration with the Office of Naval Research. A significant portion of the indirect costs that the University recovers hinges on the effective utilization of campus space, making the Space Inventory Process a fundamental component of CMA's activities. Additionally, CMA, in conjunction with Research Administration Policy and Compliance (RAPC), assumes responsibility for the oversight of the University's service centers, encompassing utility services as well as the operation and maintenance of vital systems, such as electricity, steam/chilled water, and sewer infrastructure.
