Our photographs cover a period from the late 1878 to 1999. The collection includes family photos from some prominent area families including Hirata family; Holcomb family; Caddell family; Santini family and Valles family.

San Bernardino Public Library's photograph collection includes images of family life, work life, daily activities in the community that would be of historical interest to the people of San Bernardino and surrounding areas. Our photographs cover a period from the late 1878 to 1999. The collection includes family photos from some prominent area families including Hirata family; Holcomb family; Caddell family; Santini family and Valles family.

Acquisition information:
This collection was created by San Bernardino Public Library staff in 2003-2004. The images were received on June 19, 1999 Photo Day, under the Shades of San Bernardino project, funded by the California State Library Shades of California Program and Library Services and Technology Act.

These photographs were assembled from various community members during a Photo day, June 19, 1999, as part of the Shades of San Bernardino project, funded by the California State Library Shades of California Program and Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA).
