Eight letters from Murray to McClure, April and May 1949, in which she discusses her work at Hopkins Marine Station, her domestic routines at home, her pets, their correspondence, possible visits, and other matters. Also included is a postcard of the Paraffine Paint Company of San Francisco.

Pearl Murray was a technical custodian at the Hopkins Marine Station; Cole R. McClure was the chief storekeeper for Stanford University.
