This collection includes clippings of stage reviews, correspondence, ephemera, theater programs, and a prompt book.

Biographical / historical:

Lillian Bronson was born in 1902 in Lockport, New York. She attended the Lockport Union High School, where she acted in a play directed by her English teacher. With her teacher's encouragement, Bronson studied dramatics at Bryn Mawr in Pennsylvania, and then attended the University of Michigan. She acted first in plays on Broadway and then began a screen career. She was in more than 80 feature films, including Camille with Lillian Gish, The Hucksters with Clark Gable, Spencer's Mountain with Henry Fonda, and Family Honeymoon with Claudette Colbert. Her work in television included the role as Fonzi's grandmother on Happy Days. She died August 3, 1995, at Laguna Beach, California.
