Scope and content:: The bulk of the collection contains early records of the Durham IOOF organization, with few materials pertaining to the Daughters of Rebekah. Boxes 1 and 2 contain minutes from 1808 to 1940, and a folder of loose historical materials; Box 3 contains Auditing books, 1918-1950 and Cash book 1918-1922; Box 4 contains Roll of Officers 1894-1950; Box 5 contains Receipts and Disbursement books 1904-1976 and Semi-annual and Annual reports 1896-1912.
Biographical / historical:: The Durham IOOF or Odd Fellows lodge was founded in 1884 and disbanded in 2000. The Durham Oddfellows merged with the Oroville IOOF lodge no. 59 and the Durham Rebekahs with Chico Daughters of Rebekah No. 60.
