The collection consists of American television stills dating from ca.1950s to the present and documents a variety of television series, movies for television, specials, mini-series, and documentaries. The collection represents a variety of television genres broadcast by commercial and cable television networks such as ABC, CBS, HBO, NBC, and PBS.

Scope and content:

The collection is primarily American television stills dating from ca.1950s to the present. Included are black and white prints and a very small number of color prints and slides. The bulk of the photographs are publicity stills that document TV series, movies made for television, specials, mini-series, and documentaries. The collection represents a variety of television genres broadcast by commercial and cable television networks such as ABC, CBS, HBO, NBC, and PBS, among others.

The Collection of Television Stills is an archival collection originally assembled by the UCLA Theatre Arts Library.

The stills are arranged alphabetically by television series and/or program titles.
