Scope and content:

The archival collection consists of one box of papers regarding the Free Methodist Church and personal papers on dairy farming. Dates range from 1930-1975.

Biographical / historical:

Byron Jacobson served as a pastor in the Oregon Conference of the Free Methodist Church of North America and organized the Institute for Wesley Research. As part of the Institute, he maintained a significant library. This library has been given to Fuller Theological Seminary. It includes more than 2,500 published items as well as ephemera, periodical publications and documentation on the life and ministry of Jacobson.
