Collection consists of production materials for the EMI Angel Records label, primarily research for the album liner notes and artwork for album covers. The collection is separated into five series: Liner files, Business files, Image files, Scores, and Album layout drafts. See individual series for scope and content notes.

Biographical / historical:

Angel Records was a record label founded by EMI in 1953 that specialized in classical music. In the 1960s, EMI introduced the budget Seraphim Records label to stay competitive in the market.
