Forty-seven (47) cassette tapes. Recordings of oral interviews with Monterey photographers (many of whom are affiliated with and/or students of Ansel Adams and participated in various activities of the Yosemite Workshops and Friends of Photography). Interviews were conducted by ANDERSON over the period 1999-2002 with: RICHARD GARROD, DORIS GILPIN (artist), HENRY GILPIN, PHILIP HYDE, TOM MILLEA, JENNY NEWTON, AL WEBER and Name Witheld.
- Biographical / historical:

DONALD R. ANDERSON (1937-2014), an accomplished fine-arts photographer. Moving to Monterey in 1998, Anderson taught photography and the history of photography classes at Monterey Peninsula College, California State University Monterey Bay, San Francisco State University, and University of California Santa Cruz Extension. The majority of his career was spent at the University of Louisville (Kentucky), where he taught photography and the history of photography. Anderson was an active Board Member of and consultant to the Santa Cruz, CA-based Foundation for Photographic Preservation.
