Steve Shagan (1927-2015) was an American novelist, screenwriter, and producer. He produced several Tarzan films (1966, 1967, 1967, 1968, 1971) and the television series "Tarzan" (1966-1968). He was also the producer for "Save the Tiger" (1973) and "The Formular" (1980). Shagan wrote several novels, including "City of Angeles," which he adapted into the film "Hustle" (1975).
