Description
This collection consists of materials spanning the different aspects of Tony Coelho's career and personal life inlcuding his activism, congressional work, corporate career, political activity, and his years working abroad. It includes photographs, audiovisual materials, artifacts, correspondence, reports, and documents.
Background
Anthony L. Coelho was born on June 15, 1942. The third of four children, he worked on his family’s dairy farm in Los Banos throughout his childhood. Coelho graduated from Dos Palos High School in 1960, and obtained a B.A. in Political Science at Loyola University in 1964, graduating with honors.
