Three letters to Rigoberto Vazquez from family in Jalisco, including his mother Rogaciano Vazquez, his brother Roberto Vazquez, and sister Aurora Vazquez. Letters discuss monetary issues and the family ranch, including the care of livestock and Roberto's plans for a molino (mill) for mole. Ten letters and memoranda related to Vazquez's job at the Huntington detail pay raises and benefits, as well as a positive evaluation. Also included is a Huntington brochure and map circa 1995.

Rigoberto Vazquez was born in Jalisco, Mexico, and immigrated to the United States as a young adult, settling in El Monte, California. Vazquez worked in the Botanical division of The Huntington from 1969 until his death in 2008.
