The collection consists of military medals, decorations, memorabilia, photographs, appointment letters, certificates, and personal writings documenting the life and military career of Chang Hua-lung (Zhang Hualong).

Biographical / historical:

Chang Hua-lung 張化龍 (Zhang Hualong 张化龙), 1911–1997, was a Chinese educator, scholar, and political figure. His career spanned critical periods in Chinese history, including the Republican era, the Second Sino-Japanese War, and the establishment of the People's Republic of China. Chang participated in multiple military campaigns under the leadership of Chiang Kai-shek.
