Contains material related to Ackland's Witness; the life story of George Daisley, including original typescripts, research notes, correspondence, and photographs, 1953-2008.

Biographical / historical:

From 1953 to 1958 James Ackland was a part-time assistant to George Daisley in his spiritual healing work, centered in Woodford Green, Essex, England. From 1963 he was his full-time secretary at Hallowed Grounds Fellowship in Santa Barbara, California. Daisley died in 2001.
