Scope and content:

This collection contains the papers of University of Southern California alumni, General Alumni Association executive director, and hockey coach, Arnold Eddy. These papers include budgets, reports, clippings, correspondence, pamphlets, journals, photographs, and maps. Eddy was also a member of the Olympic staff as manager of the Los Angeles Coliseum in 1932. His papers include information about the return of the Olympics in 1984.

Biographical / historical:

Arnold Eddy was a student at the University of Southern California. Following his graduation in 1924, he worked at the university. He was executive director of the General Alumni Association, graduate manager, ice hockey coach, and business manager of athletics. During the war years of 1941 to 1944 he was the athletic director. Eddy was also the manager of the Los Angeles Coliseum for the 1932 Olympics, and he contintued to work in bringing the Olympics back to Los Angeles in 1984.
