Scope and content:

This collection contains publications from the School of Physical Sciences and its departments. It contains information about events, curriculum, individuals, and academic programs within the School. There is also some documentation about the UCI Science Clinic teaching workshop and the Physics Computer Development Project.

Biographical / historical:

The School of Physical Sciences was one of the founding schools at UC Irvine. Orginally called the Division of Physical Sciences, it contained three departments (Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics) since 1965. The Department of Earth System Science was added in 1989.
