Consists of biographical information on the Keene family, many photos of the Fansler and Keene families, his hunting trips, his christmas reindeer, and 4 notebooks of his trips and ranching

Biographical / historical:

Herman Keene was born in Ventura 12-26-1878. He lived his life in Santa Paula, CA. He married Vesta Fansler. He died in `12-24-1965. He was a rancher, trapper, hunter, naturalist, and outdoorsman.

Acquisition information:
Purchased by the Santa Paula Historical Society from John Nichols for $1200, in July 2015. Nichols obtained the materials from the family in 2005
