A collection of letters by the British playwright John Poole.
John Poole (1786?-1872) was an English playwright and author; he wrote primarily satires and farces, including "Hamlet Travestie" (1810), and "Paul Pry" (1825). Poole was also an avid theater-goer, both in London and Paris, who knew the latest theater news and gossip.
