Scope and content:

Eight letters dated 1850 to 1868 from Thomas Loftin, Narcissa Harison, and James Lee to various family members. Most are from Thomas Loftin in El Dorado County to family members in Mississippi. An unrelated part of the collection consists of three 8-mm films: "The Louis-Walcott Fight," Walt Disney's "Donald's Ice Capades," and "Mickey in Eliza Crossing the Ice."
