- The collection consists of a scrapbook belonging to Bill (Tsuneo) and Margaret Chomori, including items saved from their honeymoon trip in 1949. Bill Chomori, who was born in Los Angeles in 1919, was incarcerated during the early 1940s in Manzanar, later being sent to Idaho to work in beet fields due to domestic labor shortages. He married Margaret Oka in November of 1949, after which they took a two week road trip throughout the state of California, as documented in the scrapbook. Items in the scrapbook include letters, postcards, photographs, and ephemeral material from the Chomori's trip, from areas including Los Angeles, Long Beach, Palm Springs, San Francisco, Lake Tahoe and Death Valley.
