Scope and content:

Roger Austin Scott (1951 July 8-1991 July 18) was a gay man who lived in San Francisco, California. This collection consists of four journals. According to the donor and Scottโ€™s surviving partner James Mott, Scott began to keep these journals โ€œafter he started getting sick in 1989.โ€
