Scope and Contents
This collection primarily contains correspondence from Sergeant Alfred P. Wafer, United States Army to his wife Elsie in Dearborn,
Michigan during the Second World War. He writes from training camps in Colorado, California, and Louisiana as well as from
travel and combat in France and Germany. The collection also contains letters from his sister, Catherine, to Elsie; photographs;
several newspaper articles and ephemera.
