The collection consists of letters written to and from Walter Conrad Arensberg and his wife, Mary Louise Stevens Arensberg (who is frequently addressed as "Lou"). Correspondents include Witter Bynner, Marcel Duchamp, Hildegard Flanner, Georgia Boit Gierasch, Pitts Sanborn, Robert Alden Sanborn. and William Carlos Williams.
