This collection consists of the animation festival programs and industry catalogs of American animator and producer Ron Diamond, and his associated businesses Animation World Network and Acme Filmworks. Animation festival programs include materials from Animafest Zagreb, Holland Animation Film Festival, and Anima Mundi. Also included are books on animation and comic illustration.

Biographical / historical:

Ron Diamond (b. 1958) is an American film producer and animator. A graduate of University of California, Los Angeles' BA and MFA programs within the School of Theater, Film and Television, Diamond began his career producing live-action films such as The Chocolate War (1988), and Sorority House Massacre (1986). He then shifted his focus to animation and founded Acme Filmworks in 1990 and co-founded the online publishing group Animation World Network with fellow animator Dan Sarto in 1996. Acme Filmworks operates as a virtual animation studio that connects directors and animators internationally to create client driven productions in addition to narrative animated shorts. Diamond founded the annual showcase the Animation Show of Shows in 1998, and has been a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Short Films and Feature Animation branch since 2002.
