Gordon Davidson was born on May 7, 1933 in Brooklyn, NY. He was the founding Artistic Director for the Los Angeles based Center Theatre Group where he worked from 1967 to 2004. In 1989, he assumed the role of Artistic Director for the Ahmanson Theatre.
