Scope and content:

Items include reports, plans, and other publications from the Ventura County Fire Department and other fire departments within the county. There are also some indexes for researchers interested in other resources on the topic. The Ventura Strong items and the handouts on housing resources were collected by staff following the Thomas Fire. The letter from Patricia Clark Doerner was sent to the Research Library and recounts her personal experience of surviving the fire.
