Also included are promotional packets for events such as Riddick Bowe vs. Evander Holyfield at Caesars Palace, Disney on Ice, and others.

The American Movie and Television Press Kits Collection (1993-1997; undated) contains press kits for mostly movies made between 1993-1997. Included in this collection are promotional materials such as folders, photographs, production information, cast and credits information, and other marketing materials for movies such as The Lion King, Crooklyn, Beverly Hills Cop III, Casino, Babe, To Wong Foo, Jerry Maguire, Space Jam; television shows such as Ellen, and All American Girl and others. Many of the movies in this collection feature African American actors, directors, and writers. Also included are promotional packets for events such as Riddick Bowe vs. Evander Holyfield at Caesars Palace, Disney on Ice, and others.

Acquisition information:
Donated by Melanie Polk and Saundra Willis, October 2018. Press kits were sent to the Los Angeles Watts Times newspaper for promotional purposes when Melanie Polk was the owner/publisher for the newspaper.
