I͡Akov Markovich Lisovoĭ was a Colonel in the Russian Imperial army and subsequently lecturer in the United States. The I͡Akov Markovich Lisovoĭ papers (1904-1964) include personal documents, biographical data, printed matter, and photographs, relating to the Russian Revolution as well as a memoir by Vladimir de Lissavoy, son of I͡Akov Lisovoĭ.
