Reed Hundt (b. 1948) is an American attorney who was appointed by President Bill Clinton to chair the United States Federal Communications Commission (FCC) from November 29, 1993 to November 3, 1997. The mid-1990s saw a sharp increase in key regulations of the communication industry as important new technologies for wireless and wireline communications boomed.
